GLOSSY CHOCOLATE FROSTING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. hot water
4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
6 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, salt, hot water and chocolate. Cook while stirring until sugar is dissolved. Boil slowly 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch with cold water and add to mixture. Cook (stirring) until thick, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add vanilla and beat until smooth.
