This was an awesome base recipe I added 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese and some cinnamon and made muffins, they were creamy and moist.

This is absolutely fantastic. I greased the loaf pan with butter and sprinkled granulated sugar on the bottom and sides. Cooking time definitely took an hour. Keep checking to see if the center has baked completely.

My go-to every time I get bananas in the house. I actually have this recipe taped to the inside of my spice cabinet for easy reference! I do 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar in lieu of all white, and I usually add a teaspoon or two of cinnamon and honey for flavor.

Love love love this. Thank you so much to the original poster - it's served me well for many years :)

Has anyone tried this recipe with the "Complete" mix and omitted the eggs?

Teaching a "culinary challenged" 17 y/o with this recipe and it went well... it's in the oven now. Different from other comments - it fit perfect in my loaf pan. (mine is glass, not metal).

I make banana bread all the time and this is by far the best! So light and fluffy. I couldn't find my loaf pan so I cooked it in a cast iron skillet at 350°F degrees for 25 minutes. Superb!!

I did use a 9x5 loaf pan for this recipe. Some users said it was too much batter for one loaf. I would almost agree. It all fit in the pan I used, but next time I would make sure the rack is low enough so that the loaf doesn't touch the roof of the oven!

Very easy recipe. Baked mine for 65 minutes. Waiting for it to cool now, can't wait to try it!

At first I thought this recipe was going to be too thick... then I added the bananas. PERFECT!! I must admit I am guilty of raw batter tasting and it was AWESOME!! Cant wait for it to be done!!!

Instead of Bisquick I used Trader Joe's multi grain mix, and brown sugar. Sooooo good! Threw in chia seeds too. Yum!

I've always enjoyed the bisquick banana bread recipe, disappointed it's not on the box anymore. I reduced the sugar by half, and added applesauce and sprinkled pumpkin pie spice (about 1 tsp) in addition to vanilla. Yummy.

Very fast to make! Looked a bit runny, but was great! Added 1 cup each of chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and craisins! :) Delicious! Agree with Madnoliv... too much batter for 1 loaf. :) Next time I will bake it at 325°F for 1 hour and 10 minutes instead though. The edges got a bit dark.

 Geno (Michigan) replies:
Took others advise on the amount of batter and separated some into a smaller loaf pan... we will see! Also cooking at 325°F for a bit longer, thanks for that HB.
