PUDDING FROSTING 
3 or 4 oz. instant pudding mix
1 c. milk
2/3 c. Crisco
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat pudding mix and milk and put in refrigerator. Mix Crisco, powdered sugar and add vanilla. Beat well for five minutes and combine all above and frost cake.

Excellent recipe !!!!! Light and very flavorful. I did mine with box-type cake (yellow), and used butterscotch pudding for the frosting. My 4-year old grandson loved the two flavors for his birthday cake, and made me promise to do it for all his future birthdays!!!!!

I was so impressed - very light and creamy texture, not like heavy store purchased brand! I did use my fave butterscotch pudding & 1% milk. Be sure to electric beat the FULL 5 min. After frosting cake (muffins), refrigeration is recommended as well.
