HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1/2 c. nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating for one minute at a time. Add flour, syrup, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in an additional 5 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Bring butter, sugar and milk to a full boil. Stir in chocolate chips, stirring until dissolved. Pour over hot cake. (Punch holes into cake before adding icing.)
