CHERRY PIE 
1 package Pie Crust Mix -OR-
1 (9-inch) prepared pie crust
4 cups red cherries and juice
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon Red Food Color
1/4 teaspoon Almond Extract

Prepare crust according to package directions. Line a 9-inch pie pan with crust. Drain cherries. Combine sugar and flour. Stir in cherry juice. Cook until thickened.

Add cherries, butter, food color and almond extract. Pour into pastry lined pan. Top with lattice crust.

Bake in a hot oven (425°F) 35-45 minutes or until lightly browned.
