MY MOM'S NUT ROLLS 
1 c. warm milk
1 lg. cake yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
5 c. flour

In large bowl, dissolve yeast, sugar and milk. Add salt and stir until dissolved. Add butter and eggs. Then add flour and mix well. Divide into 6 portions and shape into balls. Place balls on floured board and let raise for 1/2 hour. Roll into circle 1/8 inch thick, and spread on filling. If desired, drizzle honey over filling, and roll up. Place rolls on baking sheet and let raise about 15 minutes. Before baking, beat egg and spread over roll with pastry brush. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until browned.

FILLING:

2 1/2 lbs. of nuts ground
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk

Mix well and spread over dough. If mixture seems too dry, add a little milk.
