PEANUT SQUARES 
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together above ingredients. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees. Let this stand overnight. Grind 1 1/2 pounds peanuts in food grinder.

FROSTING:

3 egg yolks, well beaten
2 c. powdered sugar
3 tsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cut cake and dip pieces of cake in above mixture and then in ground peanuts; lay on waxed paper.
