GARLIC PICKLES 
3 or 4 garlic heads
2 or 3 stems of dill

Place these directly in jar after they are washed. Pack washed pickles in jar, do not peel cucumbers. Make a solution of: 5 qts. water 1/2 c. salt Red peppers (if desired)

Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Fill jars with solution and put jars in canner, cover with boiling water and boil until cucumbers start to turn yellow. If you use regular vinegar, use 2 1/2 quarts vinegar and 2 1/2 quarts water.
