1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cream (sour)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt (scant)
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder

Combine ingredients and bake in a moderate oven until done in an 8" x 8" x 1/2" pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
