JOHNNY'S 100 YEAR OLD POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 3 1/2 c. sugar 4 c. plain flour 10 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating well. Add flour, then vanilla; mix well. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. When you put the cake in the oven, turn oven to 300 degrees and bake for 1 hour. Then turn oven to 325 degrees for 45 minutes more. |
