FRENCH OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. cubed beef
2 onions, cut in 1/4's
3 stalks of celery, cut in chunks
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1/3 c. quick-cooking tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. basil
4 carrots, cut in 1/4's
4 potatoes, cut in 1/4's

Cook 3 1/2 hours in oven on 250 degrees, stirring occasionally.
