STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
1/2 lb. Italian sausage
1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
1 c. Romano cheese, grated
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. crumbled oregano
8 bell peppers
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten well
1 clove garlic, mashed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Slice tops from peppers and remove seeds. Combine remaining ingredients and blend well. Stuff peppers with meat mixture. Place peppers side by side in a shallow baking dish. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cooked. Serve sprinkled with additional cheese or top with spaghetti sauce.
