TANDOORI CHICKEN 
1 broiler, 2 1/2 lb. chicken or 4 chicken breasts, quartered
1/2 c. low fat plain yogurt
1 clove garlic, smashed
1 piece ginger, pared and cut into coins
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. black pepper

Remove skin and fat from chicken. With sharp knife make shallow slashes in meat. Place chicken in glass baking dish in one layer.

Combine yogurt, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, paprika, chili powder, cumin and pepper in blender. Whirl until smooth. Brush over chicken. Marinate, refrigerated, 4 hours. Remove.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place chicken in oven. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 50 minutes.
