SPAGHETTI MEAT SAUCE 
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
15 oz. water
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. onion
1 green pepper, chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
2 bay leaves

Fry ground beef, breaking into small pieces; add onions and green pepper and cook until tender. Drain all fat and set aside. Combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, spices and ground meat mixture in large saucepan. Stir together to mix all ingredients. Cook on low to medium heat for minimum of 1 hour up to 3 hours.

Microwave: Use microwave-safe dish, follow same directions to prepare, cover and heat on low for minimum of 30 minutes. Serve over spaghetti, vermicelli or use to prepare lasagna.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
