HOMEMADE CHEESE BISCUITS | |
1/4 c. butter 2 c. self rising flour 1 c. buttermilk 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a large baking sheet and set aside. Use pastry blender to cut butter into flour until it resembles coarse cornmeal. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. DO NOT OVER MIX. Drop by tablespoons, 2" apart, on baking sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 18 biscuits. NOTE: Delicious with home cooked vegetables, soup and salads. |
