ITALIAN - STYLE MINESTRONE 
1 lg. onion, diced (1 c.)
1 c. celery, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
4 cans condensed beef broth
1 can kidney beans, drained
10 oz. pkg. frozen peas and carrots
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
9 oz. pkg. frozen green beans
1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
1/2 tsp. basil, crumbled
1/2 tsp. oregano, crumbled
1/4 tsp. pepper

Saute onion, celery, and garlic in oil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven until tender, about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring slowly to boiling; lower heat. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Serves 6-8.
