SHRIMP & WILD RICE SOUP 
1 pkg. (8 oz.) deveined shrimp
1 med. onion, diced
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
Salt & pepper
4 c. milk
1/4 c. uncooked wild rice

Saute onion and shrimp in butter. When the onion is transparent, remove shrimp and onions from butter and set aside. Stir flour into butter to make a smooth mixture. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until slightly thickened to make a thin white sauce. Cook wild rice according to directions and drain.

Add onion and shrimp to the white sauce. Stir in cooked wild rice and simmer the ingredients for 30-45 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
