QUICKIE COBBLER 
3/4 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. all purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 can fruit drained or fresh fruit

Melt butter and pour into 8 inch pan. Mix sugar, flour and baking powder. Gradually add milk and blend. Pour over melted butter, stir a few times. Add fruit and rake through with fork. Bake at 375 degrees 25 to 30 minutes.
