ONE DISH LASAGNA | |
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 6 oz. can tomato paste 15 oz. can tomato sauce 1 tsp. oregano 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. basil 8-10 lasagna noodles 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese 12 oz. cottage cheese 2 eggs 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese Brown ground beef with garlic powder. Drain excess fat. Add tomato paste, sauce, oregano, basil and salt. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cook lasagna noodles, taking care not to break them. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In oiled 9 x 13 pan, layer 1/2 each of noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella and cottage cheese mixed with eggs and Parmesan. Repeat layers. Bake 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. |
