HOMEMADE NOODLES 
3 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. all-purpose flour

Beat eggs with milk, then add salt and shortening and beat. Combine dry ingredients and work egg mixture into flour. Add more flour to make a soft dough. Roll dough thin on floured board and let dry two hours. Roll like a jellyroll, then slice. Cook noodles 30 minutes in broth.
