BLUEBERRY DESSERT 
2 c. blueberries
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar (or 1/2 if you like it less sweet)
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash salt
1 c. boiling water

Turn blueberries into 8 x 8 x 2 inch buttered pan. Dribble lemon juice over berries and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cream together sugar, butter and add sifted ingredients alternately with milk. Spread batter over the top of berries.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt and sprinkle over batter in pan. Then pour the cup of boiling water over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes until brown on top. Bake at 350 degrees if using glass baking dish. Serve warm topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
