BLUEBERRY DESSERT 
2 c. blueberries
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash salt
1 c. boiling water
Pan size 8 x 8" pan, greased

Turn blueberries into pan, dribble juice over them and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cream butter and sugar. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Spread batter over the top of berries.

Mix salt, cornstarch and 1 cup of sugar. Sprinkle this dry mixture over the batter. Pour 1 cup boiling water over top. Do not stir. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream.
