COFFEE CAKE 
3/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Mix together sugar and butter. Add rest of ingredients.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter, melted
Chopped nuts

Spread a small amount of cake batter in pan. Sprinkle with half of topping. Repeat. This recipe makes a cake one size smaller than 9x13 inches. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Double recipe for 9x13 inch pan or one a little larger. Serve warm with fresh peaches.
