PUFF PASTRY 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. water

PART 2:
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
3 eggs

Part 1: Cut flour into butter. Add water and mix into a ball. Separate into 2 parts. Press onto ungreased cookie sheet (3 x 12 inches).

Part 2: Combine butter and water in saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add almond extract. Add flour, all at once. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly. Spread over first layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
