COUNTRY MEAT PIE 
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. instant rice
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 c. water
1/4 c. shredded cheese
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine first set of ingredients. Pat into bottom and sides of 8x8 inch pan. Spoon filling into meat shell. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Sprinkle with 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese. Return to oven and bake uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes longer. Serves 5 to 6.
