WHITE WINE CAKE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Delux Butter Cake Mix
1 (4 oz.) box lemon instant pudding mix
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1/2 c. water
4 eggs
1/2 c. white wine

Mix 2 minutes with mixer. Pour into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan.

Prepare pan and add 1/2 cup crushed pecans in the bottom, then pour in batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. While cake is still warm, make topping of: 1/4 c. white wine 1/8 c. water 1/2 stick butter

Boil 3 minutes or until begins to thicken. Pour over warm cake, especially around sides. Leave in pan for 15 to 20 minutes before removing.

I made this today with some leftover Charle Shawn Chardonnay and it came out pretty well! It's nice and sweet, with a hint of citrusy tartness.
