FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. diced apples
1 chopped nuts

In large bowl beat softened butter until fluffy. Gradually add sugar alternately with eggs. Beat well after each addition, add sour cream, milk and vanilla. Mix until well blended.

Sift together flour and seasonings. Gradually add to sour cream mixture and blend until smooth. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour in buttered and floured tube cake pan. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for 90 minutes. Cool.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter
1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Beat cheese and butter gradually. Add sugar and other ingredients. Mix well.
