JELLO SALAD 
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello, peach
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. vanilla ice cream
1 c. canned peaches, sliced and drained

Dissolve Jello in boiling water in metal pan. Remove 1/2 and pour into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup cold water to the Jello in the pan and place in the freezer until it thickens about 10-15 minutes.

Then add 1 cup ice cream to Jello in the bowl. Stir until smooth. Remove thickened Jello from the freezer and stir in the peaches, reserving a few slices for garnish.

Spoon thickened gelatin and fruit into glass serving bowl and top with the ice cream Jello mixture. Garnish with peach slices.
