FLAN 
6 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
3 c. diluted evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

CARAMEL:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. water

Boil caramel ingredients until golden, using a small pot. Meanwhile, take medium bowl and mix eggs until blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

When caramel becomes golden, pour into medium sized baking dish (coat bottom). Pour flan mixture over caramel.

Fill large baking pan halfway with water and put flan pan in it. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve cold.
