CHOCOLATE TORTE 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped nuts, pecans

Melt butter. Mix with flour and nuts. Press in 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool.

SECOND LAYER:

1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
1 lg. Cool Whip (16 oz.), use half

Mix together then spread over crust.

THIRD LAYER:

2 boxes cooked pudding (small boxes). When making chocolate use the amount of milk the directions call for. Spread over cream cheese layer.

FOURTH LAYER:

Use the rest of the Cool Whip (8 ounce). Add chopped pecan nuts on the top if desired.
