SIX WEEK BRAN MUFFINS 
1 (15 oz.) box 40% bran flakes cereal
1 qt. buttermilk
3 c. sugar
1 c. melted butter
4 eggs
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt

Soak cereal and buttermilk for 1/2 to 1 hour. Cream together sugar, butter and eggs. Add flour, soda, and salt to creamed mixture. Bake in preheated oven to 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Put in sealed container and date lid. Can be used safely for up to 6 weeks.
