CHEESE SAUCE BRUSSEL SPROUTS 
2 (8 or 10 oz.) pkg. frozen brussel sprouts
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 c. shredded sharp American cheese
1 hard cooked egg, chopped

In a 1 1/2 quart casserole, place brussel sprouts and water. Microwave covered until tender, 11 or 12 minutes. Stirring every 4 minutes. Drain, halve brussel sprouts. Return to casserole.

In a 2 cup glass measuring cup micro melt butter 30 to 40 seconds. Blend in flour and salt. Add milk all at once, stirring well. Micro cook, until thickened bubbly 2 or 3 minutes. Stirring every 30 seconds. Add cheese, stir until melted. Pour over brussel sprouts. Microcook, covered until heated through (about 1 minute). Stir. Sprinkle chopped egg atop casserole.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
