ESCALLOPED POTATOES | |
4 large potatoes 1 c. cream of mushroom soup 1/2 soup can milk 1 medium onion, chopped 1 small jar pimentos, chopped 1/2 small jar Cheez Whiz Boil potatoes with jackets. Peel and slice. Cook soup, milk, pimentos and Cheese Whiz until cheese melts. Put half the potatoes into a greased casserole. Salt and pepper them. Cover with half the cheese sauce. Put remainder of potato slices on top of the sauce. Salt and pepper and cover with remainder of cheese sauce. Cook at 350°F for 25 minutes with casserole lid on and 20 minutes without lid. Serves 6 to 8. |
