BAKER'S CLAY 
1 c. flour
1 c. salt

Add 3/4 cup water, a little at a time, until consistency is like pie crust. Knead until pliable. Shape free hand of cut with cookie cutters. When attaching pieces to each other, moisten both ends. Work with dough on a floured surface or a piece of oil cloth (dull side up). Bake at 350 degrees for 30-60 minutes, depending on thickness, until light tan. Can be painted with tempera. Shellac for permanency. If pieces are to made into ornaments, place paper clips or small pieces of wire in clay while wet.
