RUM POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 stick butter
4 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1 sm. can Carnation milk
1 tsp. rum, vanilla or lemon flavoring

Mix sugar, butter, eggs, then add flour and milk alternately, and add flavoring. Start in cool oven. Bake for 1 hour 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
