COCONUT - RUM POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 1/2 c. Crisco 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1 tsp. rum or rum flavoring 1 tsp. coconut flavoring 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar. Beat well. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Add flavorings. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Alternate adding milk and dry ingredients to batter. Mix well. Bake in large tube pan at 325 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours. |
