GLORIFIED RICE 
3 c. cold cooked rice
1 lg. tart apple
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pt. whipped cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
1 (10 oz.) jar Maraschino cherries, drained
Sliced bananas

Cook rice for lighter; fluffier rice, add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to cook in water. Whip cream, add sugar, salt, vanilla and almond extract. Add fruits. Add cherries and banana just before serving.
