ASPARAGUS BAKE | |
Fresh asparagus 1 tomato, chopped fine 1 rib celery, chopped fine 1/4 c. onion, chopped fine 1/4 tsp. sweet basil flakes 1/4 tsp. thyme Salt to taste 1/4 c. butter, melted TOPPING: 1/4 tbsp. parmesan 1/2 c. fine bread crumbs Arrange asparagus in a fan or circle in an oven-proof dish with stems to center of dish. Sprinkle a band of the remaining ingredients across the center of the spears. Cover with Saran Wrap and microwave 3 minutes at power level 10 and 4 minutes at powder level 8; rotating dish as it cooks. When cooked, remove plastic and sprinkle with parmesan and bread crumbs. Serves 4. |
