STEAK SPECIALTY 
Strip steak
8-10 mushrooms
2 med. white potatoes
1 med. onion
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt
Pepper
1 stick butter

Slice mushrooms. Chop onion. Slice potatoes lengthwise into 8 slices. Cut steak into 2 pieces. Combine mushrooms, onions, and potatoes in 10 inch frying pan. Melt butter first. Settle steak in bottom of pan. Salt and pepper steak. Add thyme and oregano. Cover and shake only. Cook 35-40 minutes. Turn steak once. Shake only to avoid stirring. When potatoes are soft after 35-40 minutes steak is done. After meal serve 1-2 sugar wafers or cream de'menthe.
