SWEET POTATO COBBLER 
5 med. sweet potatoes, peeled, sliced
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
Double pie crust

Boil potatoes until firm; drain. Mix sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Lay potatoes into unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle spices on top of potatoes and dot with butter. Place pie crust on top of potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
