ALMOND COOKIES 
2 cans almond paste
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
4 egg whites
1 lb. pignoli nuts or sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mash paste with a fork. Mix sugars into paste. Beat egg whites with a fork. Blend into paste mixture to form dough.

Roll dough into balls between walnut and golf ball size. Roll balls of dough in the nuts.

Place on ungreased, foil-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until lightly brown. Cool. Store in tightly covered container.
