HOT FUDGE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/3 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan; bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Sift flour and sugar together; add to hot mixture. Add remaining ingredients.

Pour into sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 20 minutes. Make icing as cake bakes so it can be poured on hot cake.

ICING:

6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 can coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tbsp. vanilla

Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil; remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients; stir thoroughly. Spread on hot cake.
