3 c. riced potatoes, boil with skins 1 c. flour Dash salt Knead lightly (like pie dough). Roll 1/8" thick, spread with melted butter, cut into 3" to 4" squares and fold into thirds. Lay onto buttered pan with first roll laid 1/2" up side of pan. Overlap succeeding rolls. Spread melted butter over top and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 1/2 to 1 hour. Or, roll dough into 1" round snake and cut into 1/2" lengths. Throw into pan, single layer. Great with gravy. |
