BUTTER PECAN BANANA BARS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 c. shortening or butter
2/3 c. sour milk
1 1/4 c. very ripe banana
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, sour milk and bananas, stirring until moistened. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.

FROSTING:

4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
2-4 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans

Combine powdered sugar, butter, milk and vanilla; blending well. Add pecans. Frost cooled cake and cut into bars.
