TURKEY PIZZA POCKETS | |
1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped mushrooms 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped 1 lg. can biscuits (12 oz.) 14 oz. jar pizza sauce 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 1/4 c. cooked turkey, chopped 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine onion, mushrooms and green peppers in small bowl; set aside. Separate biscuits and roll each individual biscuit flat. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons pizza sauce on biscuit, leaving about 1/4 inch rim of dough free of sauce. Top with 1 heaping tablespoon of the vegetable mixture, followed with 2 tablespoons of turkey. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 teaspoon Parmesan cheese. Fold biscuit over and pinch edges to seal. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes. Serve with remaining pizza sauce. Yields 10 turkey pizza pockets. 212 calories per Turkey Pizza Pocket. (Canned or Fresh). |
