HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
2 lb. frozen hash browns (thawed)
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. cornflakes (crushed)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter (melted)

In 9 x 13 inch pan (greased) pour thawed hash browns. Mix onions, salt, pepper, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, milk and cheese.

Pour over hash browns and mix. Sprinkle cornflakes over hash browns and dribble melted butter on top of cornflakes.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Just don't put the cornflakes on until you have baked it for 45 minutes. Then add the cornflakes and melted butter and bake another 15 minutes.
