SAUSAGE NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. fresh pork sausage
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. thyme
Black pepper to taste
8 oz. egg noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2/3 c. milk
4 slices American cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions and drain. In large skillet, fry sausage. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Drain drippings. Add thyme and pepper. Mix soup and milk together. Add to sausage mixture. In 2 quart casserole dish, layer noodles, sausage mixture and cheese slices. Repeat layering again. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 10 servings.
