ORIENTAL NOODLE SALAD | |
1/4 c. sesame seeds 2 tsp. pepper 3 tsp. salt 1/2 c. oil 1 pkg. oriental noodle soup 4 scallions, sliced 3 oz. sliced almonds 1 tsp. Accent (MSG) 4 tbsp. sugar 1/3 c. vinegar 1 head lettuce, diced Brown the sesame seeds and almonds in 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Mix the pepper, salt, Accent, sugar, oil, and vinegar in a shaker bottle; set aside. Cook noodles in water just until no longer hard; drain. Place the noodles, lettuce, and scallions in large bowl. Toss with dressing. Let sit in refrigerator 1 hour; toss again and serve. |
