MR. GAUTHE'S CRAB MEAT DIP 
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped green onions
1 sm. bunch parsley (chopped)
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chopped mushroom pieces
1 lb. crab meat
Optional Seasonings: Dash of Lea & Perrin sauce Dash of onion salt Dash of garlic salt Dash of red pepper

Melt butter (real butter can be used if calories are not problem) in heavy iron skillet. Saute onions and parsley until soft. Stir in flour and add milk. Heat and stir until thickened. Add soup, mushroom pieces and crab meat. Heat and simmer for 15 minutes. At this point, I dump contents into a crock pot and add the optional seasonings. It can be simmered on low heat and kept warm for any kind of gathering. Serve with chips, crackers or raw veggies.
