CRACKER JACK POPCORN BALLS 
2/3 c. white syrup
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark molasses
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in water)
2 qt. popped popcorn
2 c. peanuts

Boil until brittle thread in cold water: white syrup, sugar, molasses, butter and vinegar. Add after 1/4 cup warm water with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda dissolved into it.

Mix into 2 quarts popped popcorn and 2 cups peanuts.
